Fiber Laser

The FMS Huma fiber laser cutting machine stands out for its side plate loading, reducing the space requirements in its factory.

General Specifications

Fiber lasers are the latest development in laser cutting. The laser beam is created by an active fiber and is transmitted through the transport fiber cable to the cutting head. A fiber cutting machine is mainly suitable for processing thin or medium sheet metal. Also cuts non-ferrous metals like copper and brass. Due to their excellent beam quality, fiber lasers are the first choice for various applications in the field of precision laser cutting. The fiber laser satisfies customers with its high process speeds and narrow cutting grooves. Our Huma Fiber laser cutting processes reduce cycle times by providing higher cutting speeds, especially for thin materials. It has many advantages compared to other laser technologies.

Advantages:

  • We do not have moving parts or mirrors in the generation of laser light. This is very important to reduce maintenance costs.

  • Very high electrical efficiency which is reduced to a very low electrical consumption.

  • High speeds in thin thickness cutting.

  • The fiber lasers allow the cutting of reflective materials reducing the possible damages by reflections inside the resonator. This allows the cutting of aluminum, copper and brass.

  • Side loading that considerably reduces the space required in your workshop for installation.
